KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu
is a modern mixed striking method with basic, intermediate and advanced level weapon striking with basic and intermediate level Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu techniques. This is a combative mixed striking martial art without any formal katas or forms. It is based on a free flow and a free style of striking techniuqes. These strikes are taught to be random just like what would occur in a real fight. There will be punching and kicking drills that include random various types of punches and kicks.
Basic KoGeki Manbi-Masho-Ryu can be an entry level martial art at a cheaper price for those wanting to give martial arts a try. The basic program includes basic to intermediate striking techniques and in the higher ranks of brown belt, basic Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu or Kobushi-Do Ju-Jitsu.
You could also enroll in the Adult Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu or the children's Kobushi-Do Ju-Jitsu program for a higher level of intermediate and advanced level KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu techniques. KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu is blended into the Adult Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu and children's Kobushi-Do at a much higher level.
KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu is a blend of striking techniques from the arts of Karate, JKD, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Ninjutsu and Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu and with a few select techniques from Wing Chun, Silat and Filipino Martial Arts. There are offensive techniques as well as defensive techniques. The student will learn several types of strikes and how to defend from those strikes.
These techniques are selected from several striking martial art styles Soke Murdock has studied over his 45 years in martial arts. Basic KoGeki Manabi-Masho Ryu is an entry martial art only and is for beginners starting out. Intermediate and advanced level KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu was automatically added to Kobushi-Do Ju-Jitsu and Casarez Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu for free. This will give students in each program extra training in the striking arts but at a higher level than the basic KoGeki martial style.
We have a lot of training equipment at the dojo. You only need to buy any personalized protective equipment like mouth pices or groin protectors. We will have two adult/teen and two children's sparring sets available at the dojo. You can buy your own personalized size of sparring equipment from Amazon at great prices if you want to bring your own.
We will arrange a special evening time slot for this class starting in February if we have enough students enrolled in the basic KoGeki program. This will be a 45 minute class twice per week, two slots for adults and two slots for children and teens. The higher levels of KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu will be taught in the Ju-Jitsu programs duing those class times.
Students will test every three months for a belt advancement. There will be a belt testing fee for each belt rank achieved. The student will also be promoted each month with a black tip on their belt if their skill permits it. Black tips are a free promotion. Soke Murdock has the right to advance a student to a higher level for outstanding skill or hold back a student if their skill is not at the current required skill level for that promotion.
Basic KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu Tuition is $89.95 per month and up for adults, teens or children. Prices would be higher for the advanced level KoGeki Manabi-Masho-Ryu training.
Students of this art can transfer to the Casarez Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu or the Kobushi-Do Ju-Jitsu leadership programs at anytime they wish to do so.
These arts are way more advanced with a lot more intermediate and advanced level training material.
