One of our Kobushi-Do classes
We are now accepting new students into our evening and homeshool daytime Kobushi-Do classes.
Soke Murdock created Kobushi-Do in October 2001. We specially designed it for children ages 7 through 13 and teens 14 to 17. Kobushi-Do is Jr. Manabi-Masho Ju-Jitsu. It has a base of Ju-Jitsu with Ninjutsu, Aikido, Judo, Kali, Escrima and Karate blended with it to make it a very effective children’s self defense program.
Our Kobushi-Do students learn real Martial Arts and Self Defense, not a sport. They learn how to defeat a bully with verbal and other non physical skills. If they are being physically attacked by a bully, they use physical self defense using locks and control. They also learn Stranger Be Aware to avoid being abducted by a pedophile. They will learn valuable life lessons with ongoing personal development and life-changing goal setting.
We teach students how to be their best in life and how to achieve goals that were once thought unobtainable. Our students gain high levels of self-confidence, self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others. They gain self-discipline and learn discipline through our very effective children’s martial arts and self-defense program.
Our students learn how to be some very good listeners and become very confident people and contribute to a better world. This has helped many of our past and presnt students achieve honor roll status at school. They also get in better physical shape and handle stress better. We empower our students to excel in the martial arts and then eventually become teachers of the martial arts.
We’re a black belt and above school. Black belt is not the end but a beginning rank just like white belt. White belt to black belt is the first step. Black belt (1st black degree belt) to 5th degree black belt is the next step and then 5th degree black belt to 9th or 10th degree black belt, there are 10 degrees of black that include Master and Grandmaster. At 16 they can test into the adult program and get full adult belt ranks and black belts. A child could start a 7 and go all the way to the adult program and achieve very high ranking in the future. It takes a lot of discipline in order to be the best of the best. Put your mind in gear to achieving the goal you set for yourself. It takes hard work and perseverance and it really pays off when you get that goal; for example, your 1st black belt.
We can help you achieve the goal of black belt and above, instructor or even the master instructor. Why are you waiting? Now is the time to start. Get in shape while making new friends, while learning how to live your life, learning how to defend yourself and learning how to set and achieve longtime goals for yourself. We teach goal achievement. This will help with non-martial arts goals as well. Please call us to learn more or schedule a free trial week.

Country Music Artist Emma Grace Glover
Emma Grace Glover now has her third song out. It's available on You Tube Music. I'm sure the album will coming soon. I'm very impressed with her talent. This is what teaching goal setting and disciple can do for a child. She really did follower her dreams and goals. As a Sensei I'm very proud of her.
