This is our school protocol for students who have been exposed to Covid 19 outside of the dojo.
If you feel sick, even the slightest don't come to class. Per school policy if you are exposed to Covid 19 we require you to stay out of class for at least seven days after exposure. You must be without symptoms for those seven days. After the seventh day a Covid-19 test will be required. A Covid 19 test is most accurate after the seventh day of exposure. It must be negative and the written or stamped recorded results from the medical provider must be shown to the Sensei at the door before entering the dojo and returning to training. No exceptions. If there is an exposure at the dojo the dojo will close for 7 to 14 days and all persons attending when the exposure happened must self quarantine at home. This includes Sensei. Free make up classes will be offered and scheduled to make up for the lost class days. Hopefully we won't have an exposure if everyone follows the Covid 19 guidelines. If you are a student and willfully attend class while feeling sick or willfully attend class after being exposed to Covid 19 without telling the Sensei you could be expelled from the dojo permanently. No exceptions.
